Anne is DC of Allied Health Department Chair and Associate Professor in the Nursing Program at the University of Hawaii Maui College.
She is a Wisconsin native and earned her BSN at UW-Madison in 1981. Upon graduation, she relocated to Seattle Washington and worked at the University of Washington Medical Center for 25 years. Her clinical experience has been in acute and critical care, and clinical informatics. In 2003, she earned her Master’s in Nursing in Health Systems Management and a Post-Grad certificate in Bioinformatics from the University of Washington. She relocated to Maui in 2006 and began teaching at UHMC in 2007 and became Department Chair in 2012. Nursing education surprised her as it turned out to be a true passion.
She has three daughters in their 20s who are out making their ways in life, two dogs, a cat and a husband of 28 years. She is blessed.
